I was in need of something comforting and delicious, something that would make me feel a bit better. So inspired by Healing Kitchen, I decided to make an elixir.
First, I simmered calendula, chamomile, & rose petals in almond milk for a bit. Then I strained it and poured the liquid into a blender with some cacao, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, coconut oil, dates, a pinch of salt, and a bit of agave, and blended it. I topped it with a few more rose petals et voilà. It did the trick.
